Iβve built websites using many platforms.
WordPress, Wix, Framer, Carrd. Each platform has its strengths and weaknesses.
But now I build exclusively on Webflow.
Itβs not the best choice for every situation, but itβs the best for me and my clients.
I think many people avoid Webflow because it looks too complicated or expensive.
If you are one of those people, let me try and change your mind.
These are three major ways Webflow helps us build better websites:
1. Ultimate freedom to build stunning websites
Itβs true. Webflow has a steep learning curve.
But thatβs the price we pay for having complete freedom, something we donβt have on other platforms.
- Complete control over every SEO setting
- Ability to add animations and 3D models easily
- Localizing my website to a different language in 2 clicks And much more.
I might need to google before doing any of the above for the first time, but after that, it becomes way easier.
It helps me build unique websites for businesses instead of relying on a fixed number of templates (like I need to do when I use Framer or Wix).
2. No plugins, less maintenance
Anyone who has built a website using WordPress knows how difficult it is to maintain.
You have to rely on countless plugins, each of them gets updated on its own time, and you have to work on it on a weekly basis just to keep your site from breaking

With Webflow, that problem doesnβt exist, and thatβs a huge time (and money) saver.
You donβt use any 3rd parties.
Security, hosting, SEO, analytics - everything is done within the Webflow platform.
Once I build a website, itβs done. No maintenance is needed.
3. Faster & easier building process
Once you learn the ropes, the Webflow ecosystem has great resources for building websites quickly and efficiently. Much quicker than other platforms.
- Finsweetβs Clients First Framework is an industry standard for building scaleable websites.
- Relume is the perfect AI tool for quickly creating sitemaps and wireframes.

- Webflowβs template library has everything from full websites to unique animations and UI elements everybody can use in their project.
Webflow is not the best tool for every situation.
- If your site is very heavy on content (e.g. a media company) you better use a CMS like WordPress.org.
- If you are very low on budget, try a cheap service like Carrd.
- If you need a quick template to customize, go for Framer. But for most businesses who need unique and low-maintenance websites, Webflow offers the best website-building experience.
